About The Client

Clean, third-party tested supplements made in the USA

Eleva Nutrition makes supplements like Citrus Bergamot, Grass-fed Ox Bile, Apigenin Theanine, Nopal Cactus, Monolaurin and Shatavari. Every product is gluten-free, non-GMO and made in the USA, and Amazon is the brand's main sales channel.

Most of Eleva's Amazon orders already came without ads. The job was to make every ad dollar add new sales on top of that demand, not pay for sales the brand would have made anyway.

The problem

What was holding Eleva Nutrition back:

Eleva Nutrition had strong organic demand on Amazon, with 88% of orders coming without ads, but its ad spend was not converting into profitable sales.

Our approach

Seven steps that cut Eleva Nutrition's Amazon ACoS from 89% to 48.6%

We did not buy growth with more ad spend. We cut what was not converting, moved budget to the products and placements that sell, and fixed the listings so more shoppers buy.

1

Stopped paying for sales that were already coming

On Monolaurin, part of the ad budget was buying orders shoppers would have placed anyway. When we cut that spend in August, sales held and the product had one of its most profitable months.
2

Cleared out search terms that never sold

In one week, 43% of Sponsored Products search term spend went to terms with zero sales. We added them as negatives and kept doing it every week, so the budget goes to terms that convert.
3

Moved budget to the products that earn it

Citrus Bergamot, Ox Bile and Apigenin got more budget where they converted best. Shatavari and Beet Root Gummies, which spent more than they sold, had bids cut 25% to 30% or were paused.
4

Shifted spend away from product pages

Product page placements ran at 201% ACoS while top of search was the best placement. We cut product page bids and focused on top of search, where Eleva's shoppers convert.
5

Rebuilt titles, comparison charts and A+ content

New titles, a comparison chart showing every product is third-party tested, gluten-free, non-GMO and made in the USA, and refreshed A+ content. Ad conversion rate rose from 6.8% to 12.9%.
6

Tested images, bullets and A+ with Amazon experiments

We ran 12 Manage Your Experiments tests on main images, bullets and A+ content, so listing changes are decided by shopper behavior, not opinion.
7

Reported every week, decided every week

Every week the team gets the same report: revenue, ad spend, ACoS and TACoS, product breakdown, placements, what is working, what is being cut and what happens next.
